Doris Lawrence-Clarke, a resident of New Rochelle, died January 1, 2002 at Sound Shore Medical Center. She was 62. Mrs. Clarke was born on July 10, 1939 in Jamaica to the late Egbert and Inez (Noble) Lawrence. Mrs. Clarke worked as a sales representative for the Allstate Insurance Agency for many years. She was a communicant of the Eastchester Presbyterian Church. On December 7, 1985 she married her husband Vincent in the Bronx. Mrs. Clarke is survived by her husband Vincent of New Rochelle, two sons Paul Dunwell of England and Junior Fulton of New Rochelle and one grandchild Stephen. A sister Gwendoline Pemberton of England and four brothers Les Lawrence, Cleveland Lawrence, Milton Lawrence all of England and Rendel Lawrence of Jamaica. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting will be Thursday 7-9 pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday 11 am at Lloyd Maxcy's. Intombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
