She is survivedby her mother, Doris Slauson;two sisters, Judy Hassler (Bryan) & Carol Van Houten (Sonny); two brothers, Wilbur'Bo' Slauson (Lisa); & RoySlauson (Karen); and a hostof nieces, nephews, aunts,uncles, family and friends.She was a member of Landmark Church of Christ, aMontgomery Civinette andRetired from the US Civil Service. During her career she received numerous awards including the Alabama National Guard Federal Woman ofthe Year in 1995, and in 1998,Gov. Fob James issued herthe Distinguished ServiceMedal-First Oak Leaf Cluster.Pallbearers will be Jim Dickens, Walt Van Houten, Stephen Slauson, Trey Slauson,Shawn Slauson and ScottSlauson.
