DONALD EDWARD LAVALLEY CONCORD, Va. - Donald Edward Lavalley, 89, of Concord, Va., died Monday, June 28, 2010. He was the husband of the late Rita Ruhl Lavalley. Mr. Lavalley was born Thursday, Sept. 16, 1920 in Burlington, a son of the late Tuffield Lavalley and Lillian Lavalley. He is survived by his children, Barbara Lavalley, Colchester; Nancy Fish and JoAnn Wood, Forest, Va.; and Donald Lavalley, Sheldon; as well as five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A celebration of Donald's life will be held on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Essex Alliance Church.
