Davis Davis, Captain Donald West , 77, passed away in his home on Sept 10, 2010. Don was born on Dec 6, 1932, in Oceanside, NJ to Kirke and Bernice Davis. Davis served in the Navy during the Korean War. He began his flying career with Allegheny Airlines. He retired from US Airways in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Lynda; nephew Tim Davis, niece, Teri Ferko. Don was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Truxton Davis. Visitation, Fred Hunter?s Downtown Fort Lauderdale Home, September 13, 2010, 4:30-6:30 pm. Service at the home at 6:30. Celebration of Life immediately following service at the American Legion,1623 SR 84, Ft. Laud. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 W.
