DONALD "TONY"RAYMOND ANTHONYDAVIS1945 - 2007Donald "Tony" Davis, 62, of Pensacola died Thursday, Feb 22, 2007 in a local hospital.Donald "Tony" Davis was born in Arlington Virginia on February 4, 1945. Tony graduated from Fairfax High School. After graduation, he joined the Marine Corps. Tony saw service in Japan, Bien Hoa, Vietnam; Yankee Station, Kaneohe, Hawaii; Bufort, S.C.; Korea, and Memphis where he retired in June 1989 as a Master Sergeant. Tony started his second career in the Federal Civil Service in Memphis and transferred to Pensacola. He worked at NAMTG Tech Information Center at NAS, Pensacola as a computer service tech until his passing from a 10 month battle with lung cancer. His hobbies included radio-controlled airplanes, and HAM radio operator with call sign KN4VL73.He is survived by his father, Samuel Francis Davis; mother Julia Marie Cox Davis; wife Betty Jane Carner Davis; daughter Youlanda Jeannette Davis McConnell; sons Samuel J. Davis and Mathew A. Davis, of MS; Nicholas A Davis of VA and PFC James D. Davis; stepchildren Vivian Nierling and Kimberly Imholte of Pensacola; Blaine Moen and Troy Moen of Houston, TX; PFC Donald L, McBee of Camp Lejeune, NC; grandsons LCPL Christopher Cegielski of Parris Island, SC and Steven M. Moen of Pensacola.A memorial service will be held Monday, Feb 26,2007 at 5:00 p.m. in the Waters and Hibbert Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hugh B.
