CLARK, DIANNE JOHNSTON, 58, of North Canoe Creek Road, Kenansville, died Thursday of lung cancer. A member of a pioneer Osceola County family, she was born in Kissimmee, the daughter of Pat Johnston, Jr. and Katherine Lowe Small and was a lifelong Osceola County resident. Mrs. Clark was the co-owner of the Bar Seven Ranch in Kenansville and was a Protestant. She was over a thirty year member of the Silver Spurs Club and had for many years participated in many rodeos as a member of the Quadrille (square dance on horseback) and was also a member of the Osceola County Trail Ride Association and served as a community advisor on the Farm Service Agency Committee. Survivors include husband, John S. Clark; son, Slade Clark, Kenansville; mother, Katherine L. Small, St. Cloud; sister, Kathy Pope, Loudin, Tn.; brother, Delmar Reed Small, Gainesville. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11AM, Monday, in Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery (old section) with Rev. Bryce Foulke, officiating. Friends may call Sunday 6-8PM, at Grissom Funeral Home for signing the register only. Honorary casketbearers will be all her friends.
