Helen Diane McCuen Stewart, 54, of 6 Welborn St., wife of Harold O. Stewart, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Charles Ramsey and Annie Bell Davis McCuen. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Surviving are her husband, of the home; two sons, Joey Stewart and Shane Stewart, both of Pelzer; seven sisters, Hazel Bryant of Williamston, Sammy Tompkins, Kathy Nabors, Sharon Brooks, Mary Hudson, all of Pelzer, Rachel Woodson of Simpsonville and Sara Vaughn of Greenville; and nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Chad Christopher Stewart; a brother, Charles Ramsey McCuen; and sisters, Lois Gilliam and Edna Coker. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pinelawn Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Bill Bryant. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
