Deborah L. Hardy, 47, died October 30, 2010, with her family at her side. Debbie was born on November 15, 1962 in Mount Kisco, NY, to Edward Clark, Sr. and Joan Bancroft Clark. She graduated from Fox Lane High School, and later came to work for the Bedford Central School District Transportation Department, where she started as a monitor/driver, and was later promoted to Routing Supervisor. She was the Vice President of the New York Association for Pupil Transportation for the Lower Hudson Chapter, as well as the Chairperson for the New York State Special Needs Safety Competition. She was a 28 year member of the Union Hook and Ladder Company, Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department, where she served as past company and department secretary, and lieutenant. She also served as the President of the Northern Westchester Volunteer Fireman's Association. She is survived by her husband, Richard Hardy, Jr., her mother Joan Clark, her sister Laurie Clark (Alfredo Bueti), her brother Edward Clark, Jr. (Patricia Leonnageo), and her daughters Lauren Ross, Deanna Hardy, Madeline Hardy, and Stephanie Hardy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Friends may call at the Oelker-Cox and Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main St. (Mt. Kisco) on Thursday from 7-9PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM.
