HENDERSON, DAVID G. Archer - Mr. David Gordon Henderson, 67, died at his residence on Monday, October 18, 2010. Mr. Henderson was a Florida native, born in Miami on November 10, 1942 to parents, William Robert Rosslyn Henderson and Frances Elizabeth (Taylor) Henderson. He was a US Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He moved to Alachua County 24 years ago from Bunnell, FL and was a member of Vette Set Corvette Club, the Street Rod Club and the Gainesville community band. He is survived by his daughters, Leslie Sabrina Douglas of Archer, FL and Lisa Fisher of Gainesville, FL; son, David Henderson of Wichita, KS; 7 grandchildren; his sister, Anita Henderson of Kissimme, FL; and his beloved dog, Bumper Henderson. Memorial services for David will be held at Roberts Funeral Homes Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Ave, Ocala, FL at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 30th.
