Cynthia Victoria Anderson, 86, left us on December 25, 2013, in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. She was born to Martin Somers Bradley and Fern (Tobin ) Bradley, on October 15, 1927, in Boston, Massachusetts. Cynthia grew up in Wellesley, Massachusetts and graduated from Wellesley High School, then went on to attended Mount Ida Junior College, in Newton, Massachusetts. While living in Wellesley she worked at many jobs, ultimately working as a secretary at Wellesley High School. Cynthia eventually moved to East Boothbay, Maine to be close to family. She worked in the home health field as a CNA and was affectionately known by many as 'Nanny.' Cynthia loved to travel, garden and enjoyed knitting and sewing, but she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her five Great-grandchildren. There are so many unforgettable stories to tell and remember her by. She is loved, and will be missed and never forgotten. Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Joyce Davis and her husband Wayne, of Wellfleet, MA; and Susan Piercy Kelsey and her husband Patrick, of Nokomis, FL; grandchildren, Tiffany Beers, of Franconia, NH; Ben Piercy, Nokomis, FL; Jay Piercy, of Yarmouth, ME; Ebben Piercy, West Boothbay Harbor, ME; Janie Davis, Wellfleet, MA; and Great Grandchildren, Julia Beers, Ava and Amelia Piercy, Anwyn Davis, and E. Sawyer Piercy. A celebration of her life will be held on April 26, 2014, during the Fishermen's Festival, in East Boothbay Harbor. A place and time to be announced at a later date.
