Cynthia "Uma" M. Peters (nee Lake) Hammond, IN Cynthia "Uma" M. Peters (nee Lake), age 63, of Hammond (formerly of Lansing) passed away Sunday, August 28, 2005. She is survived by her husband John; daughter, Susie; son, Greg (Rachelle); grandsons: Stephen, Zachary and William; granddaughter, Jessica; also numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and life-long friends. Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann. Uma was a wonderful person and can finally be at peace with her oldest son Steven. She was special to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She will be forever remembered for her laughter and love of music. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. from Castle Hill Funeral Home, 248 - 155th Place, Calumet City, IL to St. Andrew the Apostle Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
