Carter, 51, of Northfield died at her home on July 3, 2010.She was born in Warwick, R.I., on Aug. 25, 1958, the daughter of Bertrand and Viriginia (Bennett) Spooner Jr. Cindy was a 1976 graduate of Winnisquam Regional High School and later received a degree in Criminal Justice at International College.She formerly owned and operated Bay Hill Bakery. Cindy was office manager at Northern Millworks in Tilton for several years and later was an administrative assistant for Franklin Opera House.She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling. Cindy also liked to bake and crochet.Family members include her husband of 26 years, Roland C. Carter Sr. of Northfield; two children, Nichole Proulx and her husband, Timothy, of Wolfeboro and Roland C. Carter Jr. and his wife, Stacey, of Northfield; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Proulx and Ariana Carter; her father, Bertrand Spooner Jr. of Danbury; three sisters, Sandra Cherry of Belmont, Susan Dore of Danbury, and Sheron Mauser of Rochester; four brothers, Leigh Spooner of Gilford and Daniel Spooner, James Spooner, and Bertrand Spooner III of Northfield; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.Visiting hours will be Thursday, July 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Paquette-Neun Funeral Home, 104 Park St., Northfield. Funeral services will be Friday, July 9, at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 50 Main St., Pittsfield.
