CYNTHIA MARIE BROWN1956-2008Cynthia Marie Brown, age 52 of Pea Ridge, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 surrounded by many loving family members and friends.She was preceded in death by husband David L. Brown, Grandmother and Grandfather Ora Mae and Bill Gates and brother Dubby Simerly. Survived by Gina Brown, David JR(Kristina) Brown, Mother Judy Gates; Father Jim(Faye) Simerly; 2 sisters Cathy(Terry) Saxton,DeeDee(Andy)Livingston; 2 very precious grandchildren Aubrie and Ayden and her baby M&M; Uncle Jim(Pat) Gates and Aunt Joy(Dillion) Vickery; in-laws Clair Mae Flores, Tommy Brown, James Flores and Reba(Gary) Hammontree, Sarah Flores and many cousins, nieces and nephews.Cindy was of the Baptist faith. She was a lady known by many names: LuLu, Momma Cindy, Weezer and Loretta. She was an employee of the Santa Rosa County Finance Department. She left a very special memory in all the people she has met over the years. She hardly ever met a stranger and her friends became friends for life. She always found the good in people and hardly ever spoke a cruel word of others. Her door was always open and her ear was always there to listen to the words of others. A warm heart and a shoulder to cry on. A genuine smile and a laugh that will always ring in your ears. Her goal was to always remember and help unfortunate children especially at Christmas time and she would like for you all to do the same in her memory.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday September 4, 2008, at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Milton with Dr. Thomas Pyritz officiating.Burial will follow in the Serenity Gardens Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home of Milton directing.The family will recieve friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Milton.Friends may share fond memories, and condolences with the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.net
