CWO3 Retired John Henry Stawarz Died - January 21, 2010 Prince George Co., VA - CWO3 Retired John Henry Stawarz, 58, of Prince George Co., Virginia passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of the late Henry and Theresa Ducat Stawarz. He grew up in Moosup and graduated from Plainfield High School in 1969. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army and retired in 1990. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Hunt Stawarz; three sons, John Henry Stawarz, II and wife, Christine of Prince George Co., Stephen Samuel Stawarz of Blackstone, Virginia and Kristopher George Stawarz and wife, Lori of Ft. Worth, TX; four grandchildren, Jon, Micah, Christopher, and Michaela Stawarz; one sister, Joan Williams and husband, Ted of Los Alamos, New Mexico. The memorial service was conducted Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment was in Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, VA.
