CURTIS-Richard James of Florida (formerly of East Islip) suddenly on March 7, 2004. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Beloved father of Rachel. Loving son of George W. and Betty M. Curtis. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Russell and Christine, Allan and Patrice, Douglas and Virginia, Matthew and Susan, Sarah and Peter Hatzioannides. Cherished grandson of Hattie Clark. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Richards beautiful smiling face and wild spirit will be missed by his family and many friends. The family will receive friends today, Sunday, March 14, 2004 between the hours of 2-5 and 7-10pm at the R.C. Albrecht Funeral Home Inc., 62 Carleton Avenue, East Islip (2 miles south of exit 43-A SS Pkwy), where a wake service will be conducted Sunday evening. Mass of Christian Burial 9:45am Monday at St. Mary's R.C. Church, East Islip, with interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, Long Island. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations for the benefit of Richards' precious daughter Rachel. Donations can be made to S. Hatzioannides F.B.O.
