Crystal-Jean Moore, born in 1961, spouse of Nancy Moore, daughter of James and Ida-Clemons, died on April 12, 2010 at 48 years old.
Crystal Jean Moore Port Leyden Crystal Jean Moore, 48, of North South Road passed away on April 12, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 7, 1961, in Utica, a daughter of the late James Wally and Ida Clemons Moore. Crystal graduated in 1980 from South Lewis. She was employed for many years at Walts Diner in Old Forge. She had a great love for country music, dancing, singing and playing guitar. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her cat, Misty. Crystal is survived by her brothers and sisters, Mary and Robert Lanz, of Boonville, James and Donna Moore, of Port Leyden, Geraline and Robert Jones, of Lyons Falls, Edward Moore and companion, Nancy, of Port Leyden, Maude Emerson, of Talcottville, Darlene and Ted Mooney, of Port Leyden; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; two stepsons, Robbie and Eric Campbell, of Port Leyden; and long time friends, Walt and Lisa Parent and their children, Stella, Walt Jr., and Ronnie, of Old Forge. Crystal was predeceased by a great-niece, Karen Jean Jones. Services will be Thursday, 11AM, at the Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 13, from 7-9 PM and Wednesday, April 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Lyons Falls. In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lewis County Hospice or the Bible Baptist Community Church, Port Leyden.
