CORLEY Robert Lee Corley, age 94, passed away on Monday September 21, 2009 in Jacksonville. He was born on February 11, 1915 in Atlanta, Georgia and was a graduate of Commercial High School. He proudly served his country during WWII as a member of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Corley moved to Jacksonville in 1938 from Atlanta; and from 1952 until 1980 operated his own food broker business, Watson, Corley and Miraglia. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner for over 50 years. Mr. Corley was also a member of the Keystone Ramblers Motor Home Club. Mr. Robert Lee Corley is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ann Corley; son, Robert William Corley (wife, Bonny); grandchildren, Steve Mallon (wife, Lisa) & Brian Mallon; great grandchildren, Ashley, Shelby & Tyler Mallon and many nieces & nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday September 24, 2009 in University Boulevard Chapel, 2214 University Blvd., S., with Rev. Jim Dubois officiating. Interment will follow in Keystone Heights Cemetery at 2:30 pm. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm on Wednesday September 23, 2009 at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South, Jacksonville, FL 32216. Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made to Community Hospice of N.E.
