Cora Mary Hall (Morrissey) MIRAMICHI, NB - The death of Cora Mary Hall (Morrissey) widow of Allan B. Hall occurred on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 89. Born in Beaverbrook, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (Teahan) Morrissey and stepdaughter of the late Alexis (Taylor) Morrissey. Cora is survived by five daughters, Kathleen Spencer (Larry) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Annie Betts of Millerton, NB, Margaret Hunt (Edward) of Surrey, BC, Jean Savoy (Gerald) of Miramichi, NB, Deborah White (Dennis) of New Glasgow, NS; one son, Michael Hall (Joyce) of Langley, BC; six half sisters, Rose Leggatt (Edward) of Miramichi, NB, Patricia Stenberg (Bruce) of Dartmouth, NS, Josie Black, Lillian Carroll, and Bernie Ramsay all of Miramichi, NB, Eileen Levensholm of Saint John, NB; two half brothers, Ronnie Morrissey (Inez) of Saint John, NB; Ray Morrissey (Beatrice) (Bea) of Miramichi, NB; 14 grandchildren;18 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Cora was predeceased by one sister, Annie Murphy; half sister, Mary Joyce; half brother, Allan Morrissey; two infant sisters; granddaughter, Cindy Hunt; grandson, Howard Mockler, and son-in-law, John Betts. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Thursday from 7 to 9 PM and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Chatham Head on Saturday at 11 AM with Father Bob McGuire officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Cerebral Palsy or to a memorial of one's choice.
