Cora Mae Jordan 1922 - 2009 BENNINGTON, VT Cora Mae Jordan, age 87, a resident of Spring St. in Gloversville, N.Y., died on Saturday afternoon, July 25, 2009, at the Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville, N.Y., following a brief illness. Mrs. Jordan was born in Bennington on June 25, 1922, daughter of Benjamin and Cora Mae Stratton Prue. She received her education in Bennington. She married Leonard Jordan in 1944. He predeceased her in July 1980. Mrs. Jordan leaves four sons, Leonard Jordan, Jr., of Greenfield. Mass., Kerry Jordan of Mayfield, N.Y., Terry Jordan and Bryan Jordan, both of Gloversville, N.Y., three daughters, Darlene Bentley of St. Johnsville, N.Y., Kathy Miller of Gloversville, N.Y., and Carol Stewart of Nelliston, N.Y., 19 grandchildren,18 great-grandchildren, and one great -great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by one brother and several sisters. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Brenda Jordan for her caring assistance. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 28, at noon at the MAHAR AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 628 Main St., Bennington. Interment will follow in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery in Bennington. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 28, from 11 a.m. until the time of the services.
