SMITH, CORA LEE, 85, died Sat- urday at Baptist Hospital East. She was a native of Chamber County, AL, and a member of New Zion Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Maxine Brooks; three sisters, Eula Mae Spencer, Lorraine Leverette and Bernice McCulum; eight grandchildren; and five great-grand-children. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at G.C. Williams Funeral Home, 1935 W. Broad- way, with burial in Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
