Funeral for Cora Irene Davis, 84, of Hartselle will be Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Foreman officiating. Burial will be in Shoal Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Aug. 3, 1919, in Blount County to Enoch Benjamin Hayes and Effie Rubitie Russell Hayes. Survivors include her husband, W.E. Davis; one son, David W. Davis Sr. of Hartselle; one daughter, Margaret Posey of Rossville, Ga.; one sister, Ruby Clem of Trinity; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be David Posey, James Posey, David W.
