LAKELAND -- Mrs. Cora Oliver Henderson of Lakeland died of complications of Alzheimer's disease Saturday (April 23, 2005) at Oakbridge Village. She was 82.She came to Lakeland from Tuscaloosa, Ala. She was a longtime employee for the city of Tuscaloosa. She was a sponsor of the YMCA Tri-Hi-Y. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church of Tuscaloosa.Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henderson. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Oliver Page Bryan, Lakeland, Mary Oliver White, Spartanburg, S.C.; son, Jackie Oliver, Montgomery, Ala.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Park in Tuscaloosa, Ala.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Ave., Spartanburg, S.C., 29302, or the Alzheimer's Association, earmarked for research, 225 N.
