SMITH _ Constance "Connie" Constance "Connie" Smith, beloved wife of Roy Smith, of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Extendicare Hillcrest on October 15, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Besides her husband, Connie will be lovingly remembered by her two sons Alan (Paulette) Smith and Sid (Sonia) Smith; her four grandchildren Sara, Austin, Tyson and Zachary. Connie was a foster mother, worked as a teacher's aide with the Calgary Board of Education, volunteered during the 1988 Calgary Olympics and upon her retirement continued her volunteer work with the Alberta Children's Hospital. A Celebration of Connie's life will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorial tributes in Connie's name may be made directly to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation (2888 Shaganappi Trail N.W., Calgary, AB, T3B 6A8).
