Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John First Baptist Institutional Church in Palmetto. Survivors include a daughter, Davean D. Peters of Bradenton; her father, Lewis Johnson of Miami; brothers Walter L. Johnson of Spartanburg, S.C., and Willie Lee Jones of Palmetto; sisters Shirley Brewer of Dallas, Diane Stephens of Bradenton, Freda Brewer of Palmetto and Marilyn Johnson of Sarasota; and two grandchildren.
