CAMPBELL, CONNIE LEE, 87, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. She was a member of Fern Creek Christian Church and a former member of South Louisville Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for 17 years in the Beginner's Department. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lexie Campbell. She is survived by one daughter, Claudia Higgins (Mack); one son, Ned Owen Campbell (Linda); one sister, Helen Roberts of Thomasville, NC; four grandchildren: Scott Wesley Higgins (April), Deanna Martinez, Kristin Allen (Charles) and Joel Ray Campbell and six great-grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10 a.m. at O. D. White & Sons, 2727 S. Third St. with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
