He was a 1967 Graduate of Milton High School and was a retired Santa Rosa County School employee with 33 years of service. He enjoyed visiting, hunting, fishing and especially throwing his cast net. He was preceded in death by his father Conley Henderson.He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Williams Henderson of Milton; daughter Summer ("Stubby") Pitts of Milton; son, Dustin Henderson of Milton; three grandchildren, Logan Pitts, Ty Pitts, Rylee Henderson; his mother, Vashti Henderson of Milton and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A special thanks to his sister in law, Susie Gilmour.Active Pallbearers will be, Will Blocker, Johnny Williams, Jackie Chavers, Buddy Miller, Jeff Mann (for his dad, David) and Tim Pugh.Honorary Pallbearers will be, Brian Prescott, Winston Brown, Bobby Brown, Ricky Grimes and the former members of the Hickory Hammock Baptist Church softball team.Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
