ANDERSON _ Colin (Andy) of Surrey, passed away peacefully May 6, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Andy is survived by his loving family, his partner Phyllis Embrey, step daughter Vita, his first wife Mary Anderson and their sons, Daryl (Cathy), Robert (Jill), Hugh and Thomas (Mary), many grandchildren and friends. The family is proud of Andy's service in the Merchant Navy and as a member of the Lord Strathcona's Horse Regiment in the Canadian Army in Europe and Korea, and of his work in Palestine. He was a good soldier and a generous man. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Valley View Funeral Home 14660 - 72 Avenue, Surrey. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
