Robert Cody Smith, 51, widower of Marti L. Smith, of 108 Ashley Ave., died Monday, Sept. 23, 2002, at Anderson Area Medical Center. Born in Anderson, he was a son of Robert L. and Lottie L. Smith, of Anderson. Member: Homeland Park Baptist Church. Former employer: Orr Lyons Mill. Survivors: Sons, Robert Marc Smith of the home and Bruce Porter of New York; a daughter, Ami Shaw, of Honea path; and three grandchildren. Predeceased: A sister, Karen V. Weldon.
