JOHNSON, CLYDE MONROE, 90Orange Lake - Clyde M. Johnson, age 90, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2007. He was born in Fort White, FL and has been a resident of Ocala since 1955. Clyde was a US Marine serving in the S. Pacific in WWII, a member of Orange Lake Baptist Church and he attended the First Baptist Church of McIntosh. He enjoyed gardening, vacations, and his family. Survivors include two daughters Janice Strange of McIntosh, Jean Baker of Bradenton, five grandchildren Sonya and Derek Baker, Jennifer Croom, Kevin and Christopher Kniedler and three great grandchildren Peyton and Jaden Croom and David Kniedler. He is preceded in death by his wife Lola Mae Johnson, daughter Paulette Kniedler, three brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of McIntosh. Interment will be at Millwood Cemetery, Reddick. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at Hiers Funeral Home, Ocala, FL. Arrangements by HIERS FUNERAL HOME, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd.
