Died Aug. 27, 2011 Clinton Waters Mr. Clinton "T.C." Waters entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday. Mr. Waters was a devout Christian man and an active member of Higher Ground Baptist Church. T.C. was also an avid fisherman and retired from BellSouth. Mr. Waters was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Muriel Waters; and two brothers, Winford "Chief" and Grady Waters. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Mrs. Fay Waters; daughters, Dedra Merriman and husband Brian, and Kim Hollingsworth and husband T.J.; grandchildren, Daphne Stewart and husband Clark, and Geoffrey Martin; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Wyatt Stewart; sisters, Vondie Johnson, Betty Bailey and Bonnie Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla. The Revs. Porter Burtram, J.O. Wallace and Kenny Gore will officiate. Interment will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel. Pallbearers will be Sonny Paul, Mike Watson, Ricky Cornutt, Jeff Cornutt, Stewart Davis and Bill Davis. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Southern Care Hospice; Dorothy McCracken; Dana Smith; Leigh Dunn; SICU, sixth, seventh and ninth floors at Gadsden Regional Medical Center; and the staff of Rehab One.
