BROWN Clinton Nicky Whitworth Brown, Jr.-Nicky, as he was called by those who knew and loved him, passed away on Sunday, September 18th, 2011. He was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1948. He was immediately given the name Nicky for St. Nicholas. Nicky was a graduate of Andrew Jackson Senior High School, class of 1966. He was a member of the Jacksonville Beach Lifeguards for several years after which he joined the United States Navy. Nicky was a Christian and a friend to all. Nicky was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Clinton Brown. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Louise, four sisters, Alice Kathleen Johnson (John D.), Victoria Lynn Dethloff (Gary), Rebecca Brown Nasche, Melanie Talbot Deen (Steve), and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. Especially close to him was his Aunt Mary and Uncle Homer (Blackman). Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home 4315 Main St. Jacksonville, Fl 32206. Services will be held on September 23, 2011 at 9AM for visitation, and 10AM for the service with Pastor David Moenning presiding and burial to follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road.
