CLEO DIANNE EASTMAN SMITH APLIN, AR Cleo Dianne Eastman Smith, age 71, of Aplin, AR, passed away Friday, November 13, 2009. She was born May 27, 1938, in Gary, IN, a daughter of William Eastman and Gladys Hill Eastman. She was a retired Security Officer, member of Aplin Church of Christ, and Aplin E.H. Club. Survivors include her husband, Charles "Clyde" Smith of Alpin; four daughters: Lee (Bill) Maynard of Cumming, GA, Brenda (Mike) Gething of Lake Village, IN, Naomi (Mike) Irvine of Whiting, IN and Kim (James) Smee of Lake Station, IN; devoted niece, Bobbie Jean (Jerry) Stoper of Bigelow; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Ansbro; three brothers; one sister and one great grandson. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Aplin Church of Christ with Mr. Cub Orcutt officiating.
