WILLIAMS Claudia M. Williams passed away September 22, 2007. She was the daughter of Hosea and Mattie Mae Williams. Claudia attended the local schools of Duval County and was a former member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and Choir #1. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2007 in Philadelphia Baptist Church, 5577 Moncrief Road, Pastor Harold LeGree, Pastor. Mrs. Williams was predeceased by her husband, Pearl Williams, Jr.; sons, Matthew Williams and Nathaniel Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory children, Autry Williams of Sacramento, California, Lillie Pearl James, Jerry Robert Williams of Miami, FL, Betty Black (Willie), Paul Williams, Mary Fowler (Donald), Evangelist Gloria Lewis, Chester Williams (Enell), George Williams; sisters, Tatharree Kirtsey; brother- in-law, Sammy Williams (Emma); sisters-in-law, Evelyn Williams and Louise Rutledge; 30 grandchildren 43 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, a special friend, Hattie Walker. Mrs. Williams will rest in the mortuary for visitation of family and friends (TODAY) Thursday, September 27, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The cortege will assemble 10:00 a.m. at 5060 Lincoln Circle South.
