DAVIS, CLAUDE "TOPPER" MORRISON, 79, died Monday, January 15, 2007 in West Palm Beach, FL. He was born January 31, 1927 in Crestwood, KY, the son of James Ferdinand and Nannie Elizabeth Miller. He served in World War II, attended the University of Kentucky, was an agent for John Hancock Insurance in Louisville and owned the Topper Davis Insurance Agency in Radcliff, KY. He was a former resident of Elizabethtown, KY and a member of the Elizabethtown Country Club, before retiring to Florida. He is survived by his sister, Ethel Klosterman, of Crestwood; children, Carol Lynn Amsbaugh, of Dallas, TX, Stuart Morrison Davis, of Memphis, TN, Philip Tomlinson Davis of Houston, TX and William Barton Davis of West Palm Beach; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
