GOUGEON, Claude Joseph (1923-2002) Peacefully in Huntsville at home by the fire, surrounded by loving family on Saturday, December 14, 2002. Claude was in his eightieth year and by his own admission had known happiness all of his life. Son of the late Edward Gougeon and Irene Laurin of Ottawa, Ontario. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rita Bannon, his dear sister Helen and brother Peter. Survived by his sister Lorraine and his brother Andrew. Dearest father of Mary (Wallace Brown), Clare (Roland Lalonde), Tom (Jane Langmaid), Suzanne (Adrian Musters) and Helen (John Leeflang). Wonderful Big Grampa to Katie, Elizabeth, Malcolm, Michael, Tom, Claire, Paul, Jack, Peter, Joe, Nick, Alex, Andrew and Elliott. A life well lived, a man well loved.
