GODIN, ClaudePassed away suddenly at CLSC in Fort Coulonge, Quebec on October 28, 2011 in his 58th year. Claude was born on November 29, 1953 on Allumette Island P.Q. and spent his entire life living and working in the area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hockey, especially with his family. He was the eldest of nine children. Predeceased by his mother Alice (Ryan), sister Jan and infant son Marc, he leaves to mourn his beloved wife Rita (Lamarche), sons Daniel (Jen), Matthew, Luke (Claudia), John (Krystal) and Lance, his father Leo, brother Leonard (Donna) sisters Odie, Nancy, Amanda (Tom), Kelly (Tim), Lyzanne (Gatean), and Mona (Tim), and grandchildren Hunter, Madison, Paytyn, Claire and Clark. Claude will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Visitations at the RINGROSE FUNERAL HOME, Chapeau, Wednesday, November 2nd from 2p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Mass of Claude Godin will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Church, Thursday November 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Burial to take place at Waltham Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society in his memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
