Claude-C. Bonnier, born in 1940, spouse of Evelyn-L. Bonnier, son of Leo and Denise, father of William, Penny, Mary, Suzette, Greg, Bonnie and Claude, died on January 9, 2015.
Bonnier, Claude C. TUCSON, Ariz. Claude C. Bonnier, 74, of Schaghticoke entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2015 while enjoying the warm Arizona weather. Born in Canada on February 18, 1940, he was the son of the late Denise and Leo Bonnier. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, graduated from the National School of Meat Cutting, received an associate in Culinary Arts, from Schenectady Community College and was a man of all trades - truck driver, chef, butcher, bus driver, maintenance man, and the list goes on. He enjoyed life to the fullest, traveled the world but above all else, Claude treasured his time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family, and they, in turn, cherished the time they spent with him. Claude was predeceased by his wife, the late Evelyn L. Bonnier. He was the father of William C. (Erica), Penny Lynn (Elmer), Mary Ellen (Ray), Suzette Marie (Dennis), Greg J. (Jill), Bonnie S. (Bill), and Claude L. (Kelly); also survived by 19 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; five brothers; and a host of many other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 2013 Broadway, Watervliet. Interment in St. John's Cemetery will be held in the Spring.
