DAVIS, CLARICE ELIZABETH, 84 Gainesville - Clarice Elizabeth, Age 84, of Gainesville, passed away at E.T. York Haven Hospice from a long illness on Thursday, November 9, 2006. Born in Tampa, Florida she moved to Gainesville in 1964. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband William M. Davis and her son, William J. Davis. Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Barbara Guynn of Gainesville, seven grandchildren, Dawn Womack of Virginia, William Davis of West Virginia, Tara Mullins of West Virginia, Timothy Davis, Jarrod Davis, Richard Davis and John Davis, all of California, and nine great grandchildren.An avid Gator football fan, she was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Funeral Services for Mrs. Davis will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, 725 N.W. 23rd Ave, Gainesville, FL. with Pastor Jerry Milton of Priscilla Baptist and Associate Pastor Glen McKinney of Westside Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 10:00-11:00AM. Burial will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park East. Arrangements are under the care of FOREST MEADOWS FUNERAL HOME.
