JACKSON Clarence "Bubba" Jackson, age 62, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 23, 2009 in Harlem Hospital, New York, N.Y. He was born in Dar-lington, S.C., on February 23, 1947, to the late Tootsie and Viola (Rayford) Jackson. A graduate of Bassick High School, he went on to attend college and was employed as a barber for many years. He had resided in the New York area for the last 20 years. Left to cherish his memory are: stepmother, Marlene Jackson; sons, Gary Cooper and Shawn Clark; daughter, Sonya (Patrick) Jaudon, Twanna and LaTisha Jackson; brothers, James Jackson, Willie McDaniel and Tony Young; grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by: his sisters, Frnaces Griffin and Jami Jackson; sons, Timothy Cooper and Jamel Blenhyme; and sister, Frances Griffin. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 2, 2009 at Messiah Baptist Church, 210 Congress St., Bridgeport with Rev. Tyrone P. Jones, IV officiating. Interment immediately following in Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave., Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
