WALLINGFORD - Clarence "Scoop" Arthur Morin, 93, of Bailey Avenue, Yalesville died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at MidState Medical Center. He was the husband of Lora Eichorn Morin.Mr. Morin was born May 24, 1918 in Lowell, Mass., a son of the late Oliver and Rosalie Lamore Morin and had been a Yalesville resident for many years. He was a carpenter for most of his life and also worked at Cleco Manufacturing for his late son, C. Donald Morin. He had a long and happy retirement.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Carol Morin, his daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and David B. Balch, all of Yalesville; his eight grandchildren, Lori Morin, Leanne Delrasso, Eudora Pascale, Ryan Morin, Blaine Morin, Jason Balch, Tambra Bonatti and Jamie Augur; and his nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, C. Donald Morin.Funeral services will be private.
