Clara Dean Age 86, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY. Clara was born in the Town of Veteran, NY on May 3, 1918, the daughter of the late Floyd and Edna Gallow Dean. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harold K. Williams; sister, Catherine Perry of Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Loretta Dean of Watkins Glen, NY, Genevieve Dean of Alpine, NY, and Jean Williams of Himrod, NY; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Clara was predeceased by her brothers, Harry and Maurice Dean; sister, Elva Terry; brother-in-law, Charles Williams; and sister-in-law, Virginia Torpy. Clara was retired from the Bendix Corp., Elmira Heights, NY, in 1974 after 31 years of service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Clara on Sunday, October 24, 2004, at 1 p.m. at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY.
