-> Clara Joyce Williams, 52, died Monday, June 20, 2005. She was educated in the public schools of Telfair County and a graduate of Central High School also she attended Savannah State College (University). Clara was employed for Chatham County Court House as a Court Administrator and retired after 25 years. A member of St. John Baptist Church (the Mighty Fortress), where she served as Sunday School teacher, Director of B.T.U., Mission in Action, The Sisterhood, Broad of Director for Inner City Night Shelter, also a member of Delta Sigma Phi. Survivors include her husband Jewell Williams, Sr.; son, Jewell "Jay" Williams, Jr.; two daughters, Carla Lampkin and Yolonda Williams; one granddaughter, JaSha A. Williams; mother, Lillie Mae Harper; two sisters, Alice Fay Harper and Sandra Jean Harper-Evans; one brother, Walter Lee Harper all of Eastman Georgia.
