- Funeral services for Clara Idell McCormack, 85, of Talladega will be Sunday, January 13, 2013, 1:00 PM in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Forestlawn Gardens. The Rev. Eric Snider and Rev. Kory Burel will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11 AM until 1 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. McCormack passed away on Friday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her daughter, Gail Raughton (Jimmy), son, Dennis McCormack, daughter, Fredia Rainey, grandchildren, Alan Raughton, Chris Rainey, great grandchildren, Justin Raughton, Kyle Raughton, and Kaleigh Rainey, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jeff Ellison, Ralph Raughton, Adrian Ford, Randy Daniel, Ronnie Hall, and Roger Sawyer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marjorie Cooley Sunday School Class and Deacons of Bemiston Baptist Church, Billy Ray Peace, Travis Ray, and Lofton Smith. Mrs. McCormack was a resident of Talladega. She was a member of Bemiston Baptist Church. Mrs. McCormack was preceded in death by her husband, William L McCormack. Miller Funeral Home will direct the service.
