ENFIELD, Conn. -- Claire S. (Paris) Desroches, 79, died Feb. 26, 2009, at Suffield House. She was born on Nov. 25, 1929, to Fernando and Corona (Mailhot) Paris. A longtime resident of Enfield, she was a communicant of Holy Family Church. In her leisure time, Mrs. Desroches enjoyed knitting, and she used her talent to make many beautiful afghans for Holy Family Church. She also liked to play cards. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them. Family includes husband Raymond; daughter Denise Desroches of Enfield; sons Daniel Desroches of Enfield, and David Desroches of Seattle, Wash.; and three grandchildren. SERVICES: Calling hours are Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, in Enfield, Conn. Family and friends may gather Monday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, and a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church.
