CARRIER _ Claire Marie February 3, 1919 - March 3, 2007 With sadness, we announce the passing of dearly loved Claire Carrier at St. Vincent's Langara, Vancouver, BC. She was predeceased by her sisters Maire Rose (Lavature), Yvette (Van Schilt), Alice Carrier; and brothers David, Leon and Joseph Carrier. "Aunty Claire" is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her dear friends of many years, Marie Ange Pellerin, May Pellerin and Henriette Magee who offered her love and support throughout both happy and difficult times. Claire was born in Prince Edward, Alberta to Alma (Turmelle) and Joseph Carrier. A devout Roman Catholic, Claire's faith remained very strong throughout her life. She will always be remembered for her loving heart, unconditional kindness and generosity. Claire will be greatly missed. Sincere thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Vincent's Langara for her care. Claire is now at peace and at rest with God, her Father. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 8th at 12 noon at the Chapel, Gardens of Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery, 15800 - 32nd Avenue, Surrey, BC. Interment to follow. II Corinthians 5:6-8 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight, we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
