CHICOPEE - Claire G. (Mercier) Bradlinski, 77, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee, was called safely home on Thursday, January 6, 2005 with her loving family by her side at the Willimansett East Nursing Home in Chicopee. She was a forty two year retired employee of the Custom Golf Club Department of the former A. G. Spalding Co. of Chicopee. She was born on June 8, 1927 in Chicopee and has been a life long resident. Claire was the daughter of the late Albert and Yvonne (McLean) Mercier. She was a communicant of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and was active in Nativity Parish activities, including the Ladies Sodality and as a Bingo Worker. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Thaddeus E. Bradlinski, who died on November 21, 1998. Claire is survived by a sister, Pearl Zazyczny and her husband, Frank of Chicopee and a cherished niece and nephew, Donna Montemagni and her husband, Kevin and John Zazyczny and his wife, Vicki; an uncle Gerald Mercier and his wife Gisele and five grand nieces and nephews. She also leaves three cherished godchildren and many dear friends. The funeral will be held Monday, January 10, 2005 at 9 am from the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Nativity Church at 10 am. The burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday, January 9, 2005 from 3 to 7 pm.
