CROWE-RICHARD "Dick" Claire Of St. Thomas, on Thursday, march 17, 2005, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Marion (Speight) Crowe (June 11, 1992) and dearly loved father of Mike and his wife Rosemary Crowe of Seattle, Washington and Stephen Crowe and his wife Karen of Windsor. Loved grandfather of Michelle and Matthew. Dear brother of Agnes Fearn and her husband the late Chuck Fearn (Dec. 5, 2004) of St. Thomas and the late Frank and Murray Crowe and the late Mary Wooton. Dear brother-in-law of Rena Speight, St. Thomas, Jean Crowe of Newmarket and Isabelle Crowe of Ancaster. Sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Dick was born in St. Thomas on September 9, 1920, the son of the late Frank and Sarah (Rourke) Crowe. He was retired from Sun Life Assurance Company and formerly lived in Windsor and London. Dick was a member of Holy Angels' Church and was a member of the St. Thomas Golf and Country Club, the St. Thomas Curling Club and formerly the Windsor Curling Club. He was Past President and one of the Founders of the Golden "K" Kiwanis Club, St. Thomas. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas until Tuesday morning and then to Holy Angels' Church were Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Angel's Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Holy Angels' Church Restoration Fund or charity of choice.
