Christopher-Mark Morris, born in 1950, son of Lawrence and Lorraine, father of Kerry, Craig and Christopher, died on September 11, 2006 at 56 years old.
Christopher Mark Morris, 56 BRUNSWICK -- Christopher Mark Morris, 56, an artistic and kind-hearted man, died on Sept. 11, 2006, at his Brunswick home, following a brief illness. He was born on Aug. 30, 1950, in Portland, the son of Lawrence and Lorraine Morris, and graduated from Portland High School in 1969. Christopher enjoyed drafting and working with tools and had developed his own contracting business. He was considered a jack of all trades and had also chosen other occupations throughout his life where he could be creative. He always valued cooking Sunday dinners with his family, fishing, and going for boat rides with his family on the lake. He was known as a man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He was also a humorous man who would do and say silly things to make someone laugh. Christopher is survived by his children, Kerry of East Baldwin, Craig of Windham, and Christopher of New Hampshire. He is also survived by his mother, Lorraine; his siblings, Laurie, Nicholas, and Kelly; and many nieces and nephews. Christopher's children would personally like to thank all of those who were part of their father's life, that beloved him and were supportive, and were always there for him. No memorial service will be held. The family requests that, should one desire, any contributions be donated to the Maine Audubon Society, the Gray Animal Farm, or a local animal shelter, as Christopher had adored caring for animals.
