SAN DIEGO -- Christine Marie Audet Verdon, 96, of San Diego died Sept. 16, 2005. She was born Oct. 19, 1908, in Waterville, Maine, and lived most of her married life in San Diego. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her sons, Richard Verdon of Redlands, Joseph Verdon of Jamul and Gregory Verdon of El Cajon; sister Constance Hallee of Ocala, Fla.; brother Elie Audet of Waterville; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She had many nieces and nephews in the Waterville area, including Rebecca Sherwood of Oakland, Maine, Greg Hallee of Augusta, Maine, Steve Hallee of Searsport, Maine, and Tampa, Fla., Tim Hallee of Fairfield, Maine, Lisa Hallee of Oakland, and Bridget Hallee Campbell of Winslow, Maine, to whom she was also godmother.A Mass was held at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4177 Marlboro St., San Diego.
