Christine was born February 24, 1937 to the late Cillar Lee Snider in Brewton, Alabama. At an early age she and her mother relocated to Pensacola, FL. Christine received her education in the Escambia County Public School System.As a small child she accepted Christ into her life. She later became a member of Houser Memorial A.M.E. Zion Methodist Church. She served faithfully as a devoted Choir member until her health began to fail. She was a singer for many years with the local gospel group "The Gospel Caravans."Christine was an avid baker, she loved to furnish the neighborhood, churches and anyone else with her baked goods. When she wasn't baking, she was traveling with her gospel group or singing solos in someone's church. She was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on August 2, 2010, leaving to mourn her passing: three daughters: Pascenia Jackson, Rita Ann Hosea (Curtis) and Ella Mae Robinson (Gary); six sons: Jerome Butler (Jennifer), John Richardson, Jr. (Debra), Arthur Richardson (Clara), Benjamin, Kenneth, and Carl Richardson; 22 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two aunts, and a host of relatives and friends.Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 9, 2010 at 12 noon, Houser Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church with Rev. Dr. James A. French officiating.
